Will Rogers
A Paramedic, Humanitarian, An Ironman, A Mission for Ukraine
Will Rogers is a 65-year-old Canadian paramedic, father, grandfather, and lifelong humanitarian who has dedicated his life to helping those in need. For decades, he has served as a frontline medical professional in British Columbia, providing emergency care and saving lives. But in February 2022, when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Will knew he had to do more.
Answering the Call
Since the war began, Will has made multiple trips to Ukraine, delivering critical medical aid, transporting ambulances, and working alongside the U.S.-based Frontline Medics in regions like Dnipro, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv. His work has helped save lives on the battlefield, providing urgent care to wounded Ukrainian soldiers and civilians.
But his vision extends beyond immediate aid. He believes in building a sustainable support system for Ukraine—one that will continue long after the war ends.
The Canadian Ukraine Economic Defence Fund
Will Rogers founded the Canadian Ukraine Economic Defence Fund as a way to create long-term, sustainable aid for Ukraine. Instead of relying on traditional donations, this initiative is an investment model where funds are never spent but strategically invested to generate continuous financial support for Ukraine’s recovery.
-
Phase 1 ($100 Contributions) – Focused on first responders like doctors, nurses, paramedics, police officers, and firefighters, with a goal of raising $10 million.
-
Phase 2 ($1,000+ Contributions) – A nationwide effort aiming to raise $41 billion to support Ukraine and fund future Canadian infrastructure projects.
A Personal Commitment
Since 2022, Will has personally invested over $72,861 of his own money into this mission. He has met with Ukrainian frontline workers, military personnel, and civilians to understand their needs and ensure that every dollar raised has maximum impact.
“This is not just about Ukraine—this is about ensuring democracy survives. If Ukraine falls, the world risks slipping back into another Cold War. This fund isn’t charity—it’s a way to secure our future.”
The Road Ahead
Will is working to expand this initiative across Canada and beyond. His goal is to secure political, financial, and grassroots support, meeting with leaders such as:
-
The Prime Minister of Canada
-
The Minister of Defence & Foreign Affairs
-
Canadian & Ukrainian Ambassadors
-
Financial institutions like TD Bank to discuss investment strategies
Join the Mission
Will believes that every Canadian can be part of this movement. A $100 or $1,000 contribution today can build a fund that lasts for generations, supporting Ukraine now and Canada in the future.
